Loyola Pérez de Villegas Muñiz (1995) is a photojournalist based in between Cartagena and Valencia. She documents national and international current affairs but also the small stories that surround her. The fundamental rights of people are the main focus of her photography, with which she tries to contribute to the reporting of social injustices both in her country, Spain, and abroad. Migration and all its complexities also occupy an important place in her photographic story with which she tries to contribute to eliminate the growing hate speech towards migrants in recent years.
Currently, she works as a freelance photographer for national media such as 'El diario. es', 'El Salto', 'La Opinión de Murcia', 'Levante- EMV'. She has collaborated with international agencies such as 'Anadolu Agency' and international media such as Le Monde.
